Application optimization on the slow network

It's hard to imagine a mobile application that doesn't go to the network for the data. As soon as network connection appears in the app, with it comes the problems associated with working on a slow network. Subway, country trips, sub-basement and a lot of places where Wi-Fi is suddenly replaced with edge, but the user continues to work with your application.

During this session you will learn what iOS has to work on the slow network: about OOB settings and an API that will allow you to handle such situations. Speaker will tell about the approaches for network requests optimization, traffic, what can be done on the server to make the life of mobile clients easier. We will also consider how to log and cover it with tests.
